Let’s Keep it Going!

Not trying to help isn’t an option and we are hockey players. That means we are men and women and kids made of steel on the ice and handshakes and laughter and vastly exaggerated stories off the ice.

In our inaugural event, we raised money to help our oceans and since there is still work to be done, we continue on our commitment to keep moving forward. This year’s event will be on August 31st, 2025. Puck drop at noon and final whistle at midnight. That’s 12 hours of hockey that we want to fill with good memories.

We have expanded the time slots to one hour and fifteen minutes to allow for those extra-long shifts! We aim to make this year bigger and better. We can use your help by spreading the word and lacing your skates for a great cause.

The BBQ was a huge hit last year, so most definitely it is on. Bring your own drinks, snacks and a chair and we will grill the burgers and dogs. Any donations to our chefs go to the Cause. Best burgers ever at 1am!

GOALIES: Because you have to face eight 2-on-1’s in a single period, you get a free T-shirt if you sign up. Please contact me (Steve Pierre) directly. First come, first served.

Our goal at Hockey Helps is to try to make our planet a little better than it is. Oh heck, a LOT better than it is. We have been inspired by those who do acts of charity and kindness, and we aim to do the same. Any hockey player knows what it means to be on a team. Be part of this one and make a difference.
